Development of Poster

This is the original poster image that I edited in Photoshop. I decided to use an image of the starring role from the film. The chosen colours and expression relate to the story of the film.

I then added the title of the film to the top of the poster. I used a Serif style 'Times New Roman' font because it looks traditional and is often used for titles.

I then added the actors name underneath the title. This is a typical convention of movie posters, they often display the names of the main or most famous characters of the film. In this case it is the actor with the leading role who's name is featured.

Here I added text saying 'Coming Soon'. This is often used on film posters indicating that there might not yet be a release date for the film or that it might still be in production.

Finally I added the small section of text that is featured on almost every film poster. This paragraph of text contains information of the production company, the filming crew, actors, directors, producers, etc.
